The resistance range of metal oxide film resistors is 1Ω~200kΩ. This type of resistor is made by decomposing and depositing a hydrolyzed metal salt solution (such as tin tetrachloride and antimony trichloride) on the surface of hot glass or ceramic. The performance of resistors varies greatly depending on the manufacturing conditions. The main characteristics of this resistor are high temperature resistance, an operating temperature range of +140~235℃, overload use in a short time, a resistance temperature coefficient of ±3×10-4/℃, and good chemical stability. This resistor has a low resistivity, and the resistance of a low-power resistor does not exceed 100 kilo-ohms.
